SL Jones Folk Art Collection
Rivertown Gallery is home to the SL Jones folk art collection. SL Jones lived most of his life in Hinton, WV. He started drawing and making sculptures after he retired from a career on the C&O Railroad. Also heralded as “primitive art”, this collection includes wood carvings and prints. Art by SL Jones can also be found at the The Market on Courthouse Square and Rivertown Gallery in Hinton, WV and at the Smithsonian Museum of Art and Culture.
The seating at Otter Cafe allows for a stroll through Rivertown Gallery as you make your way to the tables that offer a unique perspective of downtown Hinton, West Virginia.
